Why Should You Become Involved

No other organization - public or private - does what the Center for Tax Policy (CTP) does to inform and protect the businesses and individual taxpayers of Colorado. Each year Colorado taxpayers are saved millions of dollars because of CTP's diligent pursuit of the truth. Without CTP and the unbiased information provided by CTP, decision makers in both the public and private sectors would be forced to make uninformed decisions on how much the people of Colorado should be taxed and how those taxes should be spent.

The Center for Tax Policy is a privately sponsored 501(c)3, non-profit taxpayer organization that gathers and disseminates information to guide business and government decision makers in the formation of public tax policy. CTP is, in effect, a non-partisan "watchdog" of taxpayer interests dedicated to the promotion of better state and local government through research and education.
